RPUNZEL began long before it became a brand.
Its story started in 1936, rooted in a family tradition where herbs, botanical oils, and the art of careful preparation were passed down from mother to daughter. For generations, our family believed that true care comes from patience, quality ingredients, and the time given to create something meaningful.

Years later, that tradition found a new purpose when our founder’s granddaughter began experiencing hair shedding and thinning areas. Concerned for her, the family returned to the knowledge that had been preserved through generations.
Her grandmother remembered the methods she had learned from her own mother — how to carefully select herbs, how to combine them with nourishing botanical oils, and how patience was an essential part of the process.
With care, she selected a blend of herbs including lavender, chamomile, hibiscus, rose, star anise, and others, then combined them with carefully chosen cold-pressed oils. The mixture was slowly infused for two full weeks, allowing the natural ingredients to come together with time and attention.
At that moment, there was no brand, no bottle, and no business plan.
There was only a grandmother creating something special for her granddaughter — using the same knowledge and care that had been passed down to her.
Over time, the family began noticing a difference in her hair. Friends and loved ones noticed too, asking about the secret behind her healthier-looking hair. What started as a personal family ritual soon became something people wanted to experience for themselves.
One question changed everything:
“Why keep this family tradition to ourselves if we can share it with others?”
And that is how RPUNZEL Hair Oil was born.
